BIOGRAPHY

I live here and spent six years as a local councillor, I am proud to continue to serve and represent everyone in West Ham and Beckton.

I know how important it is that local people have someone to support them and to be their voice both locally and nationally. Since my election I have spoken in the House of Commons and Parliament on a range of issues across housing, education, poverty, and international policy. Issues that I know are important to my constituents. I have also used my position to support local campaigns such as the campaign to save the East London Gymnastics Centre and will continue to champion the causes at the heart of the community.

I am equally proud to have helped constituents with a variety of difficulties they are facing including with housing, immigration and benefits. 14 years of austerity has had a huge impact on our country and especially on communities like ours in East London who have been hit hard. I can’t guarantee to solve every problem, but my team and I can promise to do our very best to work with you to find a solution.
